    Tables

Organize structured data in Wonderful with Tables โ€” creator rosters, copy libraries, campaign trackers, product catalogs, and any other structured information your team needs.

    On This Page

Tables are Wonderful's structured data tool โ€” a spreadsheet-style view where every row is a record and every column is a typed field. They live inside spaces alongside boards, assets, and documents, so your structured data sits next to the creative work it supports.

Common uses: creator rosters, ad copy libraries (Copy Well), campaign trackers, product catalogs, content calendars, influencer briefs, and sourcing lists.

    Creating a Table

    1. Inside a space, click + New Item in the sidebar
    2. Select Table
    3. Give the table a name (e.g., "Creator Roster", "Copy Well โ€” Q1 Ads")
    4. The table opens with a default set of columns โ€” edit them to fit your use case

Tables live in the space sidebar and are accessible to all space members based on their role.

    Column Types

Each column in a table has a type that controls how data is entered and displayed:

    TypeWhat it storesBest for
    TextPlain single-line textNames, IDs, URLs
Rich TextFormatted multi-line contentDescriptions, ad copy, scripts
    NumberNumeric valuesRates, budgets, counts
SelectSingle choice from a fixed listStatus, category, tier
    Multi-selectMultiple choicesTags, platforms, content types
DateDate or date-timeDeadlines, shoot dates, publish dates
    PeopleWorkspace membersAssignees, contacts
    AssetLinked Wonderful assetCreator content, deliverables
    ProductLinked Brand Hub productCampaign products
Landing PageLinked Brand Hub landing pageCampaign destinations

    To add a column:

    1. Click + at the right edge of the header row
    2. Choose the column type
    3. Name the column
    4. Configure options for Select and Multi-select types

To reorder columns: drag column headers left or right.

    Working with Rows

Each row in a table is a record. Think of it as a line item โ€” a creator, a piece of copy, a campaign, a product.

    Adding rows:

    • Click + Add Row at the bottom of the table
    • Press Enter at the end of the last row to add another

    Editing a row:

    • Click any cell to edit it inline
    • Click the row's expand icon (โคข) to open a full detail view with all fields and a linked notes section

    Selecting multiple rows:

    • Check the checkbox at the left of each row
    • Bulk-edit, delete, or assign selected rows

    Sorting and filtering:

    • Click any column header to sort ascending or descending
    • Use the Filter button to filter rows by field value (e.g., Status = "Approved", Platform = "Instagram")
    • Combine multiple filters with AND/OR logic

    Searching:

    • Use the search bar to filter rows by text across all visible columns

    Views

Each table supports multiple views โ€” different ways to look at the same data. Personal views are yours alone and don't affect what others see.

    Create a view:

    1. Click + Add View in the tab bar above the table
    2. Choose Table (full grid) or future view types as they're added
    3. Name the view and configure columns, filters, and sort

    View options:

    • Hide columns that aren't relevant to this view
    • Freeze the leftmost columns while scrolling right
    • Apply permanent sort and filter settings

    Copy Well

The Copy Well is a special table type purpose-built for storing ad copy โ€” a reusable library of headlines, primary text, descriptions, and CTAs that your creative team and media buyers can pull from.

    Why a Copy Well?

Ad copy tends to get reinvented from scratch every campaign, even when good variations already exist. A Copy Well creates an approved library that:

    • Media buyers can browse when setting up the Ad Launcher
    • Creative strategists can build up over time with proven copy
    • Nova AI can reference when generating new variations

    Setting Up a Copy Well

    1. Create a new table in the space

    2. Name it something clear: "Copy Well โ€” Acme" or "Q1 Ad Copy"

    3. Set up columns for the copy elements your team uses:

      • Headline (Text โ€” 40 chars)
      • Primary Text (Rich Text)
      • Description (Text โ€” 30 chars)
      • CTA (Select)
      • Campaign (Text)
      • Status (Select: Draft / Approved / Archived)
      • Performance note (Rich Text)
    4. In the Ad Launcher, link this table as the space's Copy Well

    5. When creating an ad, click Pull from Copy Well to browse and select approved copy

    Copy Well Best Practices

    • Mark copy as Approved only after it's been reviewed by a strategist
    • Add a Performance note when copy runs โ€” note the CTR or what it was used for
    • Archive copy that's outdated rather than deleting it (historical reference)
    • Group copy by campaign type using a Select column (e.g., Retargeting / Prospecting / Seasonal)

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I link a row in a table to a task?

Yes. Use an Asset or text reference to link from a table row to related tasks. Full two-way linking between tables and tasks is on the roadmap.

Can I import data from a spreadsheet?

CSV import is on the roadmap. For now, rows are added manually or via integrations like Shopify (for products).

Can I share a specific table with someone who isn't a space member?

Not directly โ€” table visibility follows space membership. To give a client access to a specific table, add them to the space as a Viewer.

Can I use tables across multiple spaces?

A table lives in one space, but you can reference it in linked tools (like the Ad Launcher's Copy Well link) from within the same space. Cross-space table references are on the roadmap.

What's the row limit for a table?

There's no hard limit for typical use cases. Contact support@usewonderful.com for questions about very large catalogs.
