    Nova AI

Nova AI is Wonderful's built-in AI assistant for creative marketing teams — writing briefs, generating ad copy, researching competitor ads, and launching campaigns.

    On This Page

Nova AI is Wonderful's built-in AI assistant for creative marketing teams. Unlike general AI tools, Nova operates with full context of your brand — guidelines, assets, products, and campaign history — so its output is grounded in your specific brand, not generic templates.

Nova reads your brand guidelines fresh on every request, so any updates you make to your guidelines are reflected immediately in its output. It also has access to the full history of tasks and campaigns in the space, giving it real campaign context rather than working from a blank slate.

Nova is embedded directly in the workflow: it appears where you need it, when you need it, rather than as a separate tool you have to switch to.

    What Nova AI Does

    Brief Writer

Generating a creative brief is often the hardest part of starting a campaign. Nova AI writes structured briefs based on:

    • The campaign objective (what you tell it)
    • Brand guidelines (automatically pulled from the Brand Hub)
    • Target audience context
    • Linked products or landing pages
    • Historical campaign context

    To use:

    1. Create a new task
    2. Click Generate Brief with AI in the brief editor
    3. Describe the campaign goal in plain language: "Run a UGC-style campaign for our new pre-workout launch targeting gym-goers 18-35"
    4. Nova writes the brief — you review and refine it

The output is a structured brief with deliverables, audience, messaging guidance, and creative direction.

    Ad Copy Generator

When creating Meta ads, Nova generates primary text, headlines, and descriptions that match your brand's voice.

    To use:

    1. In the ad launcher, click Generate Copy
    2. Optionally add specific instructions: "Emphasize the discount, keep it punchy, no exclamation marks"
    3. Nova generates multiple variations
    4. Select or edit the one that works

Nova's output is grounded in your brand guidelines — if your tone-of-voice says "direct and confident," the copy won't be fluffy.

    Script Writer

For video ad creative, Nova writes scripts adapted to the format and platform:

    • UGC-style scripts — natural, first-person, direct-to-camera
    • Voiceover scripts — structured, with scene directions
    • Hook openers — the first 3–5 seconds that determine whether viewers keep watching

Specify the video length (15s, 30s, 60s), platform (Reels, TikTok, YouTube), and any specific messaging you want included.

    Context Fetcher

Before briefing a campaign, Nova can pull together relevant context:

    • What assets do we have for this brand?
    • What campaigns have we run before?
    • What are the key messages from the brand guidelines?
    • What products are in the Brand Hub?

This context summary appears at the top of a new brief as a starting point for your thinking.

    Ads Researcher

Nova helps you research what's working in your category before creating new campaigns. It draws from Wonderful's continuously updated reference database, which includes:

    • Meta Ads Library — real ads from brands across categories, indexed and analyzed
    • Brand emails — email creative from leading DTC and e-commerce brands
    • Brand landing pages — conversion-focused landing page copy and structure

Nova surfaces formats, hooks, and messaging angles you haven't tried — and can show you reference examples from the database.

To use: Ask Nova "Show me top-performing UGC ads for supplements" or "What hooks are working for fitness brands right now?"

    Spellcheck & Brand Auditor

Before any content goes out, Nova reviews it for:

    • Spelling and grammar errors
    • Tone of voice consistency with brand guidelines
    • Messaging that conflicts with the brand's stated rules ("we never claim X")
    • Brand name and trademark formatting

Run this check on any piece of copy, brief, or document from the task.

    Compliance Reviewer

For regulated industries, Nova checks content against common advertising standards:

    • FTC disclosure requirements for sponsored content
    • Health and wellness claim restrictions
    • Financial advertising compliance
    • Alcohol and tobacco advertising rules

This is a first-pass review, not a legal guarantee. Always have qualified legal counsel review content with significant compliance risk.

    What's Coming

Nova AI is being expanded to include:

    • Static Image Creator — generate ad creative images using your brand assets and style guide as visual reference
    • Video Creator — generate short-form video scripts with storyboard guidance
    • Task / Project Manager — AI-driven task creation, assignment, and deadline management based on campaign goals
    • Ad Launcher Intelligence — AI that analyzes your campaign history and recommends targeting, bidding, and creative strategy

    Best Practices

Give Nova context. The more specific your prompt, the better the output. "Write an ad for supplements" produces generic copy. "Write a 3-sentence primary text ad for our pre-workout, targeting gym-goers who care about clean ingredients, emphasizing our no-artificial-sweeteners formula" produces useful copy.

Keep guidelines updated. Nova reads your brand guidelines on every request. Outdated or thin guidelines mean lower-quality, less-specific output.

Treat output as a first draft. Nova's output is a strong starting point — it usually needs light editing by someone who knows the brand. Don't publish AI-generated copy without a human review.

Iterate with follow-ups. In the AI chat interface, you can refine: "Make it shorter," "Add urgency," "Try a different angle." Treat it like briefing a copywriter.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Does Nova AI have access to my brand's assets?

Yes. Nova reads your brand's guidelines, products, and metadata about your asset library. It also has access to the full history of tasks and campaigns in the space. It doesn't "see" the visual content of images and videos yet — that's coming with the image and video AI features.

    Does Nova remember previous conversations?

Nova doesn't retain memory between separate sessions. However, your brand guidelines and any context stored in the Brand Hub persist across all interactions — so Nova always starts with a full picture of your brand, even in a new session. We're also adding Nova config docs — a dedicated context document where you can store additional instructions, brand nuances, and preferences that Nova reads on every request.

Can Nova AI access competitor information?

Via the Ads Researcher feature, Nova draws from Wonderful's reference database — real ads from Meta's Ad Library, brand emails, and brand landing pages, kept continuously up to date. It doesn't scrape live competitor data directly.

Is my brand's content used to train AI models?

No. Your brand guidelines, briefs, and content are not used to train underlying AI models. They're used only as context for your workspace's requests.

    Which AI model powers Nova?

Nova is built on Anthropic's Claude models, the same AI powering Claude Code and Claude.ai. We use the latest Claude models for quality and accuracy.

Is Nova AI available to all users?

Yes. Nova AI is available to all Wonderful users. Contact support@usewonderful.com if you have questions about usage.

Can I turn off AI features?

Yes. Workspace Admins can disable Nova AI features from Workspace Settings if your team prefers not to use them.

How do I give Nova feedback on bad output?

Use the thumbs down and feedback controls in the AI interface. This helps us improve prompts and output quality over time.
