What do you think of when we say “public lands”?
Maybe it’s a long-ago trip to the desert. A first big hike in the mountains. A special wildlife spotting with your kids. Or maybe it’s your local park.
Public lands bring up different memories for all of us, but surely we can agree on one thing: They must be protected for future generations.
Right now, our public lands are under attack from lawmakers who want to sell them off. So far we’ve succeeded at stopping their attempts, but we know more are coming.
That’s why the REI Cooperative Action Network is asking outdoor enthusiasts to join us right now in speaking out against any future sell-off proposals. Add your name to demand Congress oppose any large-scale public lands sales.
