We believe that only when basic human needs are met do people have the capacity to fulfill their greatest potential. Numi Foundation invests in food relief, education, and clean water projects in our hometown of Oakland, California and in our tea growing communities abroad.
Here are some of the ways our Foundation has made an impact:
š± Brought clean, safe drinking water to 10,500+ people in our tea growing communities in Madagascar and India
š± Delivered 637,000+ pounds of fresh, organic produce to 6,000 high-need families in the Bay Area, including 1,841 low-income seniors
š± Developed free gardening, art, and social studies curriculum for children at Title 1 Oakland Unified elementary schools
š± In partnership with the Iraq Foundation, provided summer school to sixth-grade Iraqi students, many of whom are orphans and war victims
