0:00The environment is a critical issue. We've got one. We've got the globe. We're not really going anywhere in in the near future in terms of habiting other planets. So, we need to look after where we're living at the moment.
0:13There's been historical issues associated with environmental contamination, and we want to make sure that we don't make the same mistakes again.
0:20Being involved in environmental research, trying to push the cause in terms of, you know, recycling, reuse of materials, understanding where the products come from,
0:31understanding what constituents are in those products, and trying to ensure that we have a safe environment is critically important for for everyone.
0:41So, I'd encourage everyone if they've got some interest in the environment, please get involved in environmental research.
0:49There's a whole range of different things can be done. It's as I've said before, it's multidisciplinary. So, if you're interested in chemistry, if you're interested in physics, if you're interested in soil, water, biology, microbiology, molecular biology, there's something that that you can do.
