0:00We work in primarily black women-centric environments. We're lucky.
0:04Yeah.
0:04Blessed.
0:04I know.
0:05And there are so many of us out here in predominantly white institutions, jobs, careers, environments, neighborhoods who are struggling.
0:11Yeah.
0:11And I want to give content that says, 'I see you, I hear you, I love you.'
0:16And make you laugh.
0:16Yeah.
0:17Making you laugh is first.
0:18Yes.
0:18Please.
0:18But I but I hope that through that laughter you're seen.
0:21And I think sketches like Courtroom Kiki and stuff like that, you know, people come up to me.
0:25Listen, my girl in college is says Black Lady Courtroom.
0:28I said, 'Ma'am, this is not appropriate.'
0:30Oh my goodness.
0:30This is not appropriate.
0:32Just the way y'all had each other looking around like, 'Is this happening?'
0:35But haven't you been there though?
0:36After that episode aired, I walked into work the next day and I was like, 'Black Lady Office.'
0:42It's true.
0:43It's true.
0:44You make you it's like you start noticing when you're in that special moment.
0:47So many people have tweeted me like, 'Black Lady operating room, Black Lady, Black Lady dentist's office, Black Lady.' Just stuff that doesn't even fit the cadence of the song, but it doesn't matter because they feel that.
