0:00We are here at the Grammy's on the red carpet with the one and only Shaboozi, who is nominated three times tonight, including for best country song. Boozi, how are you feeling? The magnitude of these three nominations.
0:13Man, I I'm extremely, you know, grateful um to be here again after another year, after another tremendous year. Um, the song, I think good news now more than ever, I feel like rings true to just what's going on in America. So, um, I'm just happy to be here to represent, you know, immigrants, American, you know, uh, the American people, you know, I'm a child of of immigrants and uh, they work really hard to for me to be able to stand up here and represent us. So, um, come on, man. I would love to win one. You know, I got a speech prepared in my pocket. Do you? Yeah. Yeah.
0:48You got quick draw access, I like it.
0:50Oh yeah.
0:51I listen, immigrants make this country great, but you know what else does? A well-dressed man. Walk us through what you've got on right now. You're looking good.
0:57Man, just some some of my favorite brands. This is Double R L pants. I love Double R L Ralph Lauren. Everything is Ralph Lauren. This is a crazy belt. Would you want to believe this belt? This belt costs a lot of money. Um, can't remember the name off the top, but everything is Ralph. Um, and Christian Lobotons on the shoes.
1:53And look at this watch.
1:54I mean,
1:55Y'all always look sharp.
1:56Yeah.
1:57You always look sharp.
1:58I want to know tonight or today, actually, what did the group chat look like or the text thread with Jelly Roll?
2:04You know, I saw Jelly last night, man, and you know, he always says, you know, he's he's he's big on ruling for everybody else, but uh, I told him, I was like, man, I think we have a good chance of winning this one, but it's a tough category. You know, a lot of our friends, every time, you know, we're in this category, it's always legends. I see Garth Brooks is nominated with Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, I think they have one with Laney Wilson and Reba. She's got two in her category, Zach Top, who I think honestly, is like what country music really needed. So, wherever it goes, I think each one of us tell our own unique story and I think it's going to be a win for country music in general, wherever where it goes, so.
2:50Yeah.
2:50You have a speech prepared. I want to know if you do take home the trophy, do you have a spot prepared for it?
2:56Oh, man.
2:57Um,
2:59No, I I don't. I don't. I don't. Not yet.
3:02I haven't thought about that, but man, I feel really good. I feel really good. I just got to bought a house in Nashville, so maybe there'll be like the only piece of furniture I'll have there will just be no nothing else and just Grammy on the ground. You're going to need a good starting piece.
3:40Honestly.
3:41You don't need a you don't need a couch. Who needs a couch? We got a Grammy. It doesn't matter. Shaboozi, always so good to see you. Congratulations.
