Congratulations to Lindsay Beckstrom, one of our Child Life specialists at #UtahValleyHospital. She received a @KSLNews High 5 surprise after a long-time neighbor and family friend nominated Lindsay for her work with children at the hospital and around the world. Lindsay spends her work days helping children who come into the Emergency Department understand what is happening and work through the emotions that come with medical treatment. She employs these same skills when she volunteers with @operationsmile when they repair cleft lips and palettes for children around the world. Lindsay’s passion for helping children is clearly evident when she talks about her job and when she’s actually on the job. The hospital – and the community – is lucky to have Lindsay on our team!
