Always a summer favorite, Goya's Three Bean Salad was a winner at the recent Goya Club Workshop at the Kay Cisneros Senior Center in Menifee, California. Special guest Chef Rosie O’Connor, Chef-Owner of Provecho Grill in Menifee, demonstrated to workshop attendees how to easily combine fiber-rich beans, some chopped veggies and whisk together a tangy vinaigrette to make this popular salad. Made with Goya’s Low-sodium chickpeas, black beans and red kidney beans, it is a wholesome option for anyone watching salt intake. And with the help of two participating volunteers, enough salad was made for everyone to taste. It is a quick, easy and nutritious choice for hot summer days, and a great way to enjoy plant-based protein in your summer salads. A big thank you to the Senior Center staff and to the Regal Medical Group team for inviting the Goya Club to present this community workshop. From all comments received, this bean salad is sure to be a hearty and cool choice on many summer menus. #GoyaGives
