Winner of Best Costume Design at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards, “Frankenstein,” directed by Guillermo del Toro, features a cross worn by Mia Goth as Elizabeth that pays homage to Tiffany & Co.’s unparalleled design legacy. Inspired by jeweled crosses in The Tiffany Archives, costume designer Kate Hawley drew upon early 20th century necklace designs by Julia Munson and Meta Overbeck, who both led design in the Art Jewelry Department under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Conceived in close collaboration with the House’s archival team, the brooches echo heraldic motifs traditionally found on sterling silver hollowware and were created by Tiffany & Co. exclusively for the film.
