0:30When you found out about the nomination, what was your initial reaction?

0:35I was like, why do you nominate me because we did it, we did a mixtape which we didn't know it was going to be considered as an album. So that really got me by surprise. I was doing just having fun in the studio and like, really?

0:51So it got me really by surprise.

0:53And then I'm like, okay, it's a blessing.

0:54Isn't the best when you're just having fun and then it results in a Grammy nomination.

0:57Happiness is better when you have no expectations.

1:00Well, when you're nominated for this body of work, you're having fun, you're having a good time.

1:05What does that mean to you?

1:07That means that you got to stay and keep it real with yourself.

1:14And not thinking and doing music, thinking about what people want.

1:21You know, you got to do what you really want.

1:25And that's when, you know, you feel the difference.

1:27How would you describe what you have in store for 2026 for your fans?

1:33Oh.

1:36Well, you know, I'm so energized, you know, and I feel that

1:43I'm a grown man now, I'm 40, you know, so I like, like,

1:50I don't waste my time for energy that just drain me, you know, so like,

1:58I just do the music for fun, doing the things, the right things to do and focusing on my family, my kid.
